Brugh Thuinne — the royal house of the pasture lands.

Hawes Stud is run by Michael and Anne Gaffney from Churchtown in North Cork, whose old Irish name speaks to the quality of its land. The limestone-rich pastures here have supported horse breeding for generations.

Michael and Anne breed, raise and consign quality thoroughbreds, with results at the highest level — among them Group 1 winner Alcohol Free and strong returns at Tattersalls, Goffs and beyond.
